Monetizing Your Website, Profit With Adsense!

How do you monetize your site?

You can do it by earning only a few cents per click for displaying Adsense ads on it. Many are now realizing that good money is made from this source of revenue. Try the simple mathematical computation of multiplying those clicks for every page on your website and you get a summation of earnings equivalent to a monthly residual income with that little effort you have made.

Google Adsense is a fast and easy way for website publishers of all sizes to display relevant and text-based Google ads on their website’s content pages and earn money in the process. The ads displayed are related to what your users are looking for on your site. This is the main reason why you both can monetize and enhance your content pages using Adsense.

How much you will be earning will depend on how much the advertisers are willing to pay. It will depend also on the keywords required. If the keywords the advertiser has chosen are in high demand, you could receive more money per click. On the other hand, low demand keywords will earn you just a few cents per click.

How can you start making profits out of your website using Adsense?

1. Sign up for an Adsense account. It will only take a few minutes of your time.

2. When the site is accepted, you will be receiving a clip code to include in your web pages. You can insert this code on as many pages or web sites as you want. The text-based Google ads will start appearing immediately after.

3. You will be earning a few cents or more per click when someone starts clicking on the Ads displayed on any of your web pages. Trying to earn false revenues by repetitively clicking on your own ads is a no-no. This will result in a penalty or the possibility of your site being eliminated. The money you have already earned may be lost because of this.

4. Adsense earnings can be checked anytime by logging into your web site account and viewing your statistics.

Once you have your account working, you may want to pattern your pages after the sites that are earning more money than you are. It is important to note that there are factors affecting how your website will perform and the amount of money it will give you. It usually takes some time combined with trial and error to attain what you want for your Adsense to achieve.

It is quite normal when you have your site earning money, for you to want it to make more money. Here are some important factors that you can practice and use to achieve your goals.

1. It is best to write only one topic per page. And concentrate on just a few targeted phrases. The search engine will then serve ads that are more relevant which will then result in higher click throughs.

2. Using white space around your ad. This can make your ad stand out from the rest of your page so visitors can spot them easily. There are also other choices of colors you can use, provided by search engines, which can harmonize the color of your ad with the web page color.

3. Test your ad placement. It is recommended to use the vertical format that runs down the side of the web page to get more positive results. You can also try both horizontal and vertical formats for a certain period of time to see which one will give you better results.

4. More content-based pages. Widen the theme of your website by creating pages that focus more on your keyword phrases. This will optimize the pages for the search engines. It can not only attract traffic but also make them more relevant for the Ads to be displayed.

5. Site Build It. This is the perfect tool to be used for creating lots of Adsense revenues. Site Build It has all the tools necessary to quickly achieve a keyword-rich site that can rank high in the search engines. This will also produce a flow of traffic to your site of highly targeted visitors.

10 Secrets to Improving Your Websites Conversion Ratio

According to the so-called experts, a decent conversion ratio is right around one percent. In other words, one out of every one hundred visitors to your website converts to a sale.

Personally, I think you should ignore what the experts say, and strive to achieve as high a conversion ratio as possible. You should never be satisfied. You should always be looking for ways to improve your conversion ratio. My website can convert around 3 to 5 percent, and sometimes higher!

Unless you're selling a big-ticket item and making $200 or more per sale, it's extremely difficult to make any real money with only a one percent conversion ratio.

Of course, there are exceptions to every rule, and if your website is attracting hundreds or even thousands of visitors a day, then obviously you can do quite well with a one percent or lower conversion ratio.

But what if you don't have that good of traffic - and most websites don't, then what? What if you're selling a $20 e-book and you're only attracting a hundred visitors a day to your website? With a one percent conversion ratio, that means your website is making a measly $20 a day. And believe me, that’s much more common than you realize.

However, what if you could improve your conversion ratio to 3 percent, 5 percent, All of a sudden; you're making $60 to $100 a day with the same amount of traffic. Improve your conversion ratio to ten percent and voila, that $100 a day turns into $200 a day!

So, how do you go about improving your website's conversion ratio? Here are some tips that should help:

1. Make sure your visitors know what you do, the instant they land on your website. Don't make them have to guess. Tell them right up front with a benefits-laden headline.

2. Make sure the design of your website is up to par, Make it easy to navigate. Get rid of distracting flash or meaningless graphics that are a waste of everybody's time and take forever to load, Simplify your website.

3. Use psychologically effective colours. The colour blue suggests quality, trustworthiness, success, seriousness, calmness - the perfect choice for sales pages. Avoid purple, which connotes uncertainty and ambiguity, and only use yellow to highlight key words and phrases. In addition, try to have as much white space as possible. This makes for a much cleaner looking, easier to read website.

4. Get your own domain name. URL's that contain names like, "Geocities", "Angelfire" or "Tripod" have amateur written all over them.

5. Prove what you say. Back up your claims with cold, hard, indisputable and verifiable facts

6. Put your name, telephone number and street address on your website

7. Use authentic customer testimonials, complete with first and last names. Just make sure you get your customers permission first.

8. Offer a fair and reasonable money-back guarantee. Thirty days is good. Sixty or ninety days are better!

9. Make it easy for your customers to pay. And offer a variety of payment options. I can assure you, if you're using PayPal only, you're losing sales. There are a lot of people out there, I included, that just won't do business with PayPal. It's too much of a hassle!

10. And last but not least, make sure you have a powerful sales letter. A strong and effective sales letter can blast your earnings into the upper stratosphere!

If you aren't capable of writing that type of sales letter yourself, hire a copywriting expert to write it for you.

10 Great Ways To Source Low Cost Products For eBay.

I haven’t talked about eBay before but if you’re having trouble finding stock cheaply enough to sell it for a good profit - well, you’ve come to the right place. And these will work for any auction site.

Garage sales:
The chances are you’ve gone most of your life seeing ads for these and ignoring them. Go to as many as you can. You won’t find good things at every one, but when you find one person with good stuff, make them an offer for the lot – they’ll be so happy about it that you can get a real bargain.

Markets:
If your area has a market, then go there and look around for anything good. You could buy it there if it’s cheap enough, or try to make friends with the market traders and find out who their suppliers are.

Pawn shops:
Pawn shops don’t usually know what to do with the junk they accumulate (unless it’s jewelry, of course). Generally, they put their stock out on the shelves haphazardly, hoping that someday someone with a little money will just happen to come in, search around and buy wildly obscure things. Get them to offer you a discount for bulk.

Real auctions:
Go to a real auction, as the chances are that you can resell things for more than they will sell them for. After all, they only have a few hundred people in that room – you have a few million to sell to!

Local newspapers:
Place an ad in the local paper that reads “I pay cash for [your item type]”, with your phone number. If you can afford it, make it a big display ad, so it’ll be noticed.

Ad boards:
Get one of those little ads in the grocery store.

Friends:
Ask your friends if they have anything they’d like to sell you, and ask them to spread the word to their friends.

Become known:
Give out business cards, mention to people what you do. The chances are that you’ll come across someone who’ll say “Oh, really? I’ve got a load of [item] I don’t want”.

Shops:
This might be a little surprising, but some real shops even sell things more cheaply than they sell on eBay. Take a look around your local deep discounter, and pay special attention to any shop that takes trade-ins from customers. The chances are they take a loss on trade-ins as a promotion, and are dying to get rid of that stock.

And finally eBay:
When you’re looking at the completed items view, you’ll notice the massive range of prices that items can sell for on eBay. Try taking the highest-priced item and searching for it on its own, then sort by lowest price first: I can almost guarantee that you’ll see an auction for the same item where it sold for almost nothing. The trick is to find these flawed auctions before they close, win them using a bid sniping service, and then turn around and resell the item.

Important Rules in Website Design

When it comes to your website, extra attention should be paid to every minute detail to make sure it performs optimally to serve its purpose. Here are seven important rules of thumb to observe to make sure your website performs well.

1) Splash pages aren’t always good

Splash pages are the first pages you see when you arrive at a website. They normally have a very beautiful image with words like "welcome" or "click here to enter". In fact, they are just that -- pretty vases with no real purpose. Do not let your visitors have a reason to click on the "back" button! Give them the value of your site up front without the splash page. Splash pages are good for web site owners who are advertising their site on traffic exchanges or wanting to get sign ups and build a list.

2) Do not use excessive banner advertisements

Even the least net savvy people have trained themselves to ignore banner advertisements so you will be wasting valuable website real estate. Instead, provide more valuable content and weave relevant affiliate links into your content, and let your visitors feel that they want to buy instead of being pushed to buy.

3) Have a simple and clear navigation

This is very important. You have to provide a simple and very straightforward navigation menu so that even a young child will know how to use it. Stay away from complicated Flash based menus or multi-tiered dropdown menus. If your visitors don't know how to navigate, they will leave your site.

4) Have a clear indication of where the user is

When visitors are deeply engrossed in browsing your site, you will want to make sure they know which part of the site they are in at that moment. That way, they will be able to browse relevant information or navigate to any section of the site easily. Don't confuse your visitors because confusion means "abandon ship"!

5) Be careful using audio on your site

If your visitor is going to stay a long time at your site, reading your content, you will want to make sure they're not annoyed by some audio looping on and on, on your website. If you insist on adding audio, make sure they have some control over it -- volume or muting controls would work fine.

All in an Affiliate Marketers Day

Being in the affiliate marketing business is not that hard now with the internet at your disposable. It is much easier now compared to the days when people have to make use of the telephones and other mediums of information just to get the latest updates on the way their program is coming along.

So with technology at hand, and assuming that the affiliate is working from home, a day in his or her life would sound something like this…

Upon waking up and after having breakfast, the computer is turned on to check out new developments in the network. As far as the marketer is concerned there might be new things to update and statistics to keep track of.

The site design has to be revised. The marketer knows that a well-designed site can increase sign ups from visitors. It can also help in the affiliate’s conversion rates.

That done, it is time to submit the affiliate program to directories that lists affiliate programs. These directories are means to attract people in joining your affiliate program. A sure way of promoting the affiliate program.

Time to track down the sales you are getting from your affiliates fairly and accurately. There are phone orders and mails to track down. See if they are new clients checking the products out. Noting down the contact information that might be a viable source in the future.

There are lots of resources to sort out. Ads, banners, button ads and sample recommendations to give out because the marketer knows that this is one way of ensuring more sales. Best to stay visible and accessible too.

The affiliate marketer remembered that there are questions to answer from the visitors. This has to be done quickly. Nothing can turn off a customer than an unanswered email.

To prove that the affiliate is working effectively and efficiently, inquiries would have to be paid more attention on. Nobody wants to be ignored and customers are not always the most patient of all people. Quick answer that should appear professional yet friendly too.

In the process of doing all the necessities, the marketer is logged on to a chat room where he or she interacts with other affiliates and those under that same program. This is where they can discuss things on how to best promote their products.

There are things to be learned and it is a continuous process. Sharing tips and advices is a good way of showing support. There may be others out there wanting to join and may be enticed by the discussion that is going on. There is no harm in assuming what opportunities ahead.

The newsletters and ezines were updated days ago, so it is time for the affiliate marketer to see if there are some new things happening in the market. This will be written about in the marketer’s publication to be distributed to the old and new customers.

These same publications are also an important tool in keeping up to date with the newly introduced products. The marketer has put up a sale and promotion that customers may want to know about. Besides, they have to keep up with the deadline of these sales written in the publications.

It is that time to show some appreciation to those who have helped the marketer in the promotions and sale increase. Nothing like mentioning the persons, their sites and the process they have done that made everything worked.

Of course, this will be published in the newsletters. Among the more important information that have been written already.

The marketer still has time to write out recommendations to those who want credible sources for the products being promoted. There is also time to post some comments on how to be a successful affiliate marketer on a site where there are lots of wannabees.
Two objectives done at the same time. The marketer gets to promote the product as well as the program they are in. Who knows, someone may be inclined to join.

Time flies. Missed lunch but is quite contented with the tasks done. Bed time….

Ok, so this may not be all done in a day. But then, this gives you an idea of how an affiliate marketer, a dedicated one that is, spends the marketing day.

Is that success looming in the distance or what?

How To Generate Traffic Using Only Free Methods

While there are ways to jumpstart your traffic flows, many sites don’t have the resources that others have to generate more traffic for their site. Well, you don’t have to spend a cent; all you need is the proper mindset and a lot of eagerness. You also must have the drive and perseverance to do hard work and research to generate more traffic for your site.

How sweet it is to have more traffic for your site without spending a single cent. Honestly, you don’t need to speed a single cent to generate traffic using only free methods. I’m not going to beat around the bush with you, these free methods I’m going to tell you about will take a little time and effort, but they really work.

1. Take advantage of online forums and online communities. The great thing about forums and online communities is that you can target a certain group that fits the certain demographic that you are looking for. You can discuss lots of things about the niche that you represent or offer. Another great advantage is that you know what you are getting into and you will be prepared.

With online communities and forums you can build a reputation for your company. Show them what you are made of and wow them with your range of expertise about the subject. With this you can build a reputation and build trust with the people looking for your expertise and knowledge.

2. You can also make use of newsletters. Provide people with a catalog of your products and interesting and entertaining articles. If you make it really interesting and entertaining, people will sign up for your newsletter and recommend it to other people. The more people who sign up for your newsletter, the more people there will be who will go to your site, increasing your traffic.

3. Another great idea is trading links with other sites. You don’t have to spend a cent. All you have to do is reach an agreement with another webmaster. With exchanging links, both sites will benefit. Traffic that goes to the other site could potentially click on your link and visit your site as well. This works well especially when both sites feature the same or a similar niche.

4. Write articles that could pique the attention of people that have interest in your product. Try writing articles that will provide tips and guides to others. Writing articles that provide good service and knowledge to other people will provide the necessary energy your traffic flow needs.

Many sites offer free submission and posting of your articles. When people find interest in your articles they have a good chance of following the track by finding out where the article originated in the resource box. I talked about this in the last article. Include a link or a brief description of your company with the article and there’s a great probability that they will go to your site.

5. Write good content for your site. Many search engines track down the keywords and keyword phrases your site uses and how they are used. It is not a requirement that content should be done by a professional content writer. You could do your own but you have to make content for your site that is entertaining as well as informational.

6. Generally, internet users use Keywords to search in search engines like Google to find what they are looking for. Search engines in return use keywords to aid their search results. With the right keywords, you can get high rankings in search engines without the costs and this high ranking will give you tons of traffic.

All of these methods and more will drive more traffic to your site for free. All it takes is a bit of effort and extended man hours. Learn all you can about the methods depicted here and you will soon have a site with a great traffic flow without the usual costs that come with it.

Writing the Resource Box that Makes People click

Today people who go to the internet generally are out to search for information. Whether for gaming, business, fun or anything else the internet has provided us with information that has proven to be very beneficial.

As people have learned the secrets of Search Engine Optimization, more and more sites have seen the effects articles have for generating traffic to their sites. Some have even created sites devoted entirely to providing articles that could be read by their website visitors and have links that could lead to many sites that are related to the topics and subjects of the articles.

For example, the sites may feature many articles about a whole lot of topics. As a website visitor reads the articles they have searched for, they can find at the end of the article a resource box that can be clicked on to link them to the site that has submitted the article. Of course the article would be in relation to the site. Let’s say if the article is about rotating the tires, the resource box may lead to a link to a site that sells tires or car parts.

A resource box is what you usually find at the end of an article. They will contain the name of the author, a brief description of the author, a brief description of the sponsoring site and a link. If a reader likes what they read, they would have the tendency to find out where the article came from to read more. The resource bow will be their link to the source of the article and this will entice them to go to the site and do some more reading or research for the subject or topic they are interested in.

But, like the article itself, the resource box must also be eye-catching to demand the attention and interest of the reader. While the resource box encompasses only a small space, providing the right keywords and content for your resource box will provide more prodding for the reader to go to your site.

Now that we know what resource boxes are, what are the benefits of having a good resource box? Mainly it’s driving traffic to your site. Many sites would allow articles to be placed in their sites because they can make use of the articles to fill their pages. They also get affiliation with other sites that can be beneficial for them as well. For the sponsoring site, when you get people to click on your resource box, you generate traffic that can be counted upon as potential customers.

So what would be a good content for your resource box? Basically it is keywords, learning about the proper keywords that people are mainly searching for. There are many tools you can find on the internet that can help you in determining what keywords to use.

Resource boxes can also make use of all the creativity it can get. You only get a small space for your resource box so you better make the most of it. Try to catch the attention of your reader with resource box content that make them give a second look. Unlike TV ads, you don’t have visual aids to drive your point in. But you do have the power of the imagination of a reader. With the right content, you can make them think and be intrigued.

Another tip is to use keywords that should be related to your site. Do not mislead your potential website visitors. Build your credibility so that more people would get enticed to visit your site and browse what you have to offer. Make the people click your resource box by providing resource box content that makes a lasting impression. You only get one chance to wow them and hundreds of chances to repulse them.

Never underestimate the power of the resource box. It may be small in size but they will provide a significant aid in driving traffic to your site. A boring resource box will never get a job done. Be fun and creative but at the same time show that you have a great deal to offer, too much to ask for something that couldn’t fit a paragraph? Yes and no, there are many tips and guides that can help you in doing this, the first step is realizing how important a resource box could be in making people click your link and be directed to your site.

Things You Must Do Before You Submit To Article Directories

To all writers and non-writers out there, now is the time to start digging up those creative writing skills.

With modern communication technology comes the popularity of information-based marketing, which is one of the oldest and most effective techniques in getting targeted prospects to sites and converting them into buyers. This is why article writing, submissions and publications are also so popular.

There are already many tools that people can use to make the process of distributing their articles easier. Though this is invaluable in getting the articles more exposure, this is only half of the story.

Let us take a look first at the common mistakes that some people make before submitting their contents to article directories:

1. Confusing the reason to promote the articles with the reason to write them.
In article writing, there are three key benefits why you are promoting them; branding, lead generation and promotion, which are all part of your optimization efforts.
But there is only one reason why you write an article, and that is to inform your audience. If the article is not focused on this primary and most important purpose, it will fail to achieve the three promotion benefits because no one will be interested in reading them.
You need to figure out first how to get people to read what is in your article, then make them click on your resource box. You can achieve this by producing better contents.

2. Failing to maximize the promotional opportunities of article marketing.
You may know already that your articles can help you generate additional links back to your site. But do you know that you can get more visitors and better search engine results from that same articles?
Mention keywords at strategic places. Just be sure not to overdo them. Some are even using anchor texts which is also an effective method. But it is important to know that majority of the directories are not able to support this.
Remember that is not only about the links back to your site. Part of doing well in your article marketing is getting picked up by publishers with a large number of audiences and gaining the ability of leveraging other brands because of the quality of your work. Better search engine results also are great benefits.
But these things do not put much money in your pocket. There are other factors that can turn your article marketing efforts into an opportunity that can boost your earnings. Not just increase the number of visitors to your site.
Start out with a plan and see to it that your article will serve the function that you intended it to have.

3. Publishing content that does not help your readers.
Maybe in the process of writing articles, you are thinking that all that is you wanted is links back to your site. And any visitors it can generate are fine.
Guess what? Not all article banks and directories are going to accept your content automatically. Oftentimes, they have some guidelines and specifications on the articles that they are accepting.
You can double the number of sites you can submit to by writing articles that the directories want to share with other people. All it takes is one publisher with a hundred thousand readers to increase your potential audience overnight.
Write the articles that publishers want in their publications if you want your article marketing to work the most effective way for you. This also means you have to obey the standard guidelines, spell checks, researching on a good topic and even hiring a writer to produce a good content on your behalf.

In the end, it is all really a matter of choice on your part. You can start getting a little exposure from increased links back but on a very basic level. Or enjoy massive exposure from a little extra time making quality contents.

It will be your choice. You may not be aware of the fact that an article submitted on directories is not meant to have the same level of exposure as highly-targeted content ones geared on a narrow group of people.

Learn the difference between these two and it will surely help you know what kinds of articles to write and to submit.

Article marketing is a great way to get your message across

One of the biggest problems with article marketing is you need to write articles and that isn’t the easiest thing to do for some people. We don’t all have writing skills or have been trained in developing the skills. We all have a story to tell though and that story (your story) someone is just waiting to hear.

So how will it get told? You could get someone to write it for you or you could tell it yourself. Each has its own advantages. But when you are writing short articles often (depending on the topic) people are very forgiving on the writing style if the story is interesting and catchy.

We all need to start somewhere so why not take a stab at writing your own story.

Here is a great article I found that might help you get started.

The Beginner's Guide To Successful Article Writing
By Rob Metras

When we think of writers, we tend to think of people who have a college degree in Journalism or who have taken many writing classes. Or maybe they are experts in something like nuclear fission, and can write articles explaining it better than anyone else. Actually, all you need is your own creativity!

Well, creativity plus good writing skills and the desire to be a good writer. You also have to accept that having a piece of writing you have poured your heart and soul into get rejected is a fact of life for writers. Remember, the editor is rejecting the piece of writing, not you. If you have these qualities, or if you have the desire to be a great writer and the will to develop the other skills, that is a great starting place.

The world is filled with topics. A heated PTA meeting, an obnoxious coworker, issues with aging parents, relationships, children, communities, hobbies, all the things that make up your everyday life are great subjects for articles. The ability to see the uniqueness and the commonality of your experiences will help you come up with articles other people will want to read.

Article writing has many benefits. No one tells you what you have to write, you get to choose. It is also very flexible. If you need to write between three and five am, no one will know or care. You can write your articles at the local coffee shop or at the kitchen table. It is all about what works best for you.

The next step is to create your routines as a writer. Set up a workspace with your computer, printer, paper, pencil, dictionary, thesaurus and whatever else you feel you will need. The next thing that is an absolute must is to carve out time to devote to writing and then stick to it. The difference between want to be writers and actual writers is the time they devote to actually write.

Writers who focus on books have to go months or years before they get feedback from publishers. Article writers usually get it in a matter of weeks. This helps you to identify strengths and weaknesses to focus on in the future.

To get started I would start some sort of journal and carry it around with you everywhere. Write down anything you think is interesting, cut clippings of articles you like and put them there, pictures that inspire and so on.

After you have written the article, you will want to get it published. The Writers Market is full of ideas about places to submit your article. It is available for purchase online and in bookstores. Best of luck with this exciting new career!

One tip I have is find someone who can help you (my ‘someone’ is my wife). Get them to give you feed back on what you have written and help you (I certainly need help here) with spelling and grammar. Have them check it out before you publish it but they need to be able to be honest with you and you need to will willing to listen. I find after I have worked with something for a while I can miss the obvious mistakes.

Are you up for it? I certainly like hearing new stories and would love to hear yours.

Features Your Web Site Must Have

Just don’t focus on the home page, keywords and titles.

The first step to sales when customers visit your site to see the products they were looking for. Of course, search engine optimization and better rankings can’t keep your customer on your site or make them buy. The customer having visited your site, you must now ensure that he gets interested in your products or services and stays around.

Motivate him to buy the product by providing clear and unambiguous information. Thus if you happen to sell more than one product or service, provide all necessary information about this, may be by keeping the information at a different page. By providing suitable and easily visible links, the customer can navigate to these pages and get the details.

Understanding Your Target Customer:

If you design a website you think will attract clients, but you don’t really know who your customers are and what they want to buy, it is unlikely you make much money. Website business is an extension or replacement for a standard storefront. You can send email to your existing clients and ask them to complete a survey or even while they are browsing on your website.

Ask them about their choices. Why do they like your products? Do you discount prices or offer coupons? Are your prices consistently lower than others? Is your shipping price cheaper? Do you respond faster to client questions? Are your product descriptions better? Your return policies and guarantees better than your competitor’s? To know your customer you can check credit card records or ask your customer to complete a simple contact form with name, address, age, gender, etc. when they purchase a product.

Does your website give enough contact information?

When you sell from a website, your customer can buy your products 24 hrs a day and also your customers may be from other states that are thousands of miles away. Always provide contact information, preferably on every page of your website, complete with mailing address, telephone number and an email address that reaches you.

People may need to contact you about sales, general information or technical problems on your site. Also have your email forwarded to another email address if you do not check your website mailbox often. When customer wants to buy online provide enough options like credit card, PayPal or other online payment service.

Be Sure to incorporate these simple features into your website and you will without a doubt reap the benefits in increased profits for years to come.

It’s really hard to be a Clickbank super affiliate, but you shouldn’t say NO to the thought of giving up. Bear in mind that in affiliate marketing business, you need to develop persistence, patience and knowledge. These traits will teach you to carry on no matter how tough the job is. Also, check your statistics. This will help you find out what is working and what is not. Make necessary changes if needed but do it one at a time and be patient.

Don’t forget that in affiliate marketing, everything won’t take place overnight. And it will not happen without blood, sweat and hefty time commitment. Again, just encompass patience, persistence and knowledge; then do above mentioned tactics. Before you recognize it, you will start gaining profits. Believe me, the fruits of all your efforts here in affiliate marketing will be way too sweet.

How Can You Use Articles To Build Your List?

Getting customers in your site should always be ranked as high as the importance of the quality and the excellence of the product and the services you provide. They should go hand in hand in providing your customers the satisfaction they get in exchange for the money they have paid for them. Customer service should as well be as fantastic so that the customers are provided with the same satisfaction.
One of the ways you can combine marketing and customer service is through opt-in marketing. With an opt-in list you get the opportunity to introduce your site and products on a good time basis. Opt-in marketing strategy is a marketing strategy that is virtually low cost and not time consuming. Here, you get the consent of your website visitors to subscribe to your newsletters and other promotional materials such as catalogs and free promotions.
Opt-in marketing uses your list of subscribers to send e-mail to. These e-mails will contain the materials you will send to your subscribers. It is essential that you present your promotional items in a manner that will catch the interest and the eye of your subscribers to keep them wanting for more. The best way to do this is to provide fun, entertaining and informational articles.
Well written articles full of content and useful information will help in building your list as more subscribers will be enticed to your list. When they have read the samples of your contents in your sites, they will be intrigued as to what will come next. Subscribing to your newsletter will offer them a glimpse of what you have to offer next.
Many sites and companies have captured the importance of articles and this also aids in search engine optimization. As more people are heading towards the internet for their information needs, serving the right information to them via articles in your site will increase the flow of your website traffic. With more traffic, the percentage of your sales will grow. More sales turn into more profit.
There has been a rise in the importance of well written, information enriched and keyword packed articles for the content of their site as well as for newsletters. These articles provide the information many are seeking on the internet. If your site has them, more people will be going to your site for information and research.
Well written articles would also boost your site’s reputation. If they are filled with a lot of information you will be regarded as well informed and an expert on the subjects that you tackle. Your articles must be well researched so that the people will trust you. When you have gained their trust, they will always come to you for their needs on that subject.
In connection, you must write articles or commission them to tackle subjects that are closely connected with your type of business. If you have a site for a medicine tackling a certain disease, your articles should be about the disease. Or if you sell materials for home improvements provide articles with those themes. The articles that are searched for most are tips, guidelines, methods, manuals and such. If you provide these articles to your customers and you have their trust, they will always go to your site for help and advice as well as for your products.
With the loyalty of these customers, they may subscribe to your opt-in list to receive all the information you have. If you provide them with the answers for that need, they will be happy to be receiving your newsletters as well as other promotional materials to keep them well informed. Others may even forward your newsletters to other people when they find a certain article interesting.
You should provide links in your newsletter so that when other people are reading it and want to read more, they may click on the link and go to your site. With the articles you have in your site that are good, they may decide to sign up as well for your opt-in list. This will build your list and make it bigger.
Inetekk's Veretekk internet marketing system and marketing tools (lead generation, verified email marketing, SEO and SEM) along with its training to use them can really help you build your list. Why not test drive try Veretekk’s silver system absolutely free first.
Most of all make sure to keep your subscribers happy and interested in your newsletters and promotional materials. Keep on posting and writing good articles for your site and newsletter. This is an investment that will pay for itself in time.

Blogging can Help in Creating a better Page Rank

Blogging first came into existence and became popular when individuals wanted to express their feelings. Then with time, blogging started being considered as a unique tool to popularize businesses.

This was done by using a little SEO skills and well-organized blog to help the growth of your business or to start a new business. You may want to know how it is possible. Though, people read and seek information, they still like the blogs that have entertainment, since it is similar to reading a person’s deep thoughts. You can utilize this point by using your blog for attracting more reading and turning them into prospects of your web site. Just random postings on blogs about your business would not help you in creating interest from your readers. By following the suggestions given below you can create a blog that will help your websites Page Rank by using a blog:

1. Creation of user-friendly web site: In order to attract consumers through blogging, ensure your business has a web site that is user-friendly. You should also understand that it is important to think before pushing some or the other information over the Internet. Thinking indicates thinking in the lines of the products and services offered. Make sure that your web site displays a clear picture of the business you offer. The information should be easily understandable and accessible. The important information of your business should always be on the home page, rather than on a page, where no one can find it. Avoid displaying too many ads or searching for information that would annoy your readers, or you may lose the otherwise prospective customer.

2. Adding your blog: After creating a good web site, add your blog with care. You should also decide on how you would like to show yourself and your business to the entire world, the type of customers you would like to attract, and many more. If you would like to attract the high-end professional customers, the relaxed attitude or jazzy logos and pictures would not help you anywhere. Make sure that you limit such ideas for your personal blog.

3. Grammar: Use good grammar, and adopt professional writing style with no punctuation errors. Before publishing the matter on your blog, make sure to proofread them for spelling and grammatical errors. Professionals would not like to read a business blog with lot of grammatical mistakes and spelling errors, as it indicates un-professionalism. If you are not confident about your writing style or grammar, you can check out for specialized freelance blog writers within your specified budget.

4. Update your blog on regular basis so that you don’t lose out your readers. You can try updating once a day or two, as once in a week would be too long. Stagnant or stale information would bore and annoy the customer. Once you get accustomed to blogging, you would find it easy to update it daily.

5. Accept Comments and Feedbacks: People, generally love commenting. Therefore, include a comment section for your readers to write comments. Depending on the readers’ taste you can know easily what are their likes and dislikes, and what do they do. This would help you to be in par with their tastes. Check out this top blog as an example.

How best to Advertize on MySpace

MySpace is an online community where users have the opportunity to create websites where others can view personal information about them and contact them. However, savvy Internet marketers have found MySpace can also be used to advertise products or service or for the purpose of self promotion. Care should be taken to review the terms of use on MySpace to ensure none of your actions are in violation of these terms but otherwise users can advertise either directly or indirectly on their MySpace website.

Why Advertising on MySpace is Effective

Advertising on MySpace can be effective as long as it is done correctly and not in a way that is viewed as spam. The effectiveness of MySpace stems from amount of users who are currently using MySpace. This includes both members who place comments as well as nonmembers who only look at other websites. With so many daily visitors it is likely there will be visitors who are interested in the products or services you are offering on your MySpace website.

Another reason why MySpace is such an effective advertising tool is there are no fees associated with using your MySpace profile to create links to your ecommerce website or to provide more information about the products and services you offer. The best way to effectively advertise on MySpace is to follow the same guidelines that would normally be followed by advertisers in online locations. This includes knowing who your target audience is and how to effectively appeal to them. This is important because a marketing campaign which does not follow these simple rules will not likely be effective.

In addition to advertising within a MySpace website there are also opportunities to advertise in the form of banner advertisements on MySpace. MySpace is able to not charge a fee to members because they generate their income through paid advertisements. Contact MySpace administrators directly to learn more about these advertising opportunities.

Selling Products on MySpace

MySpace can be also be used to advertise products or services. This can be done either subtly or blatantly. Those who are active participants on MySpace and invest time in meeting others and making friends are more likely to benefit from selling products or services through a MySpace account. This is because most people who use MySpace are not exactly looking for information about products or services so they are unlikely to seek out this information.

However, if they have online friends who are using their MySpace account to promote a product or service they may see the advertisements and find the products or services interesting. In this case they may visit a link to an ecommerce website and consider making a purchase. However, care should be taken when advertizing your website on MySpace. Links to your ecommerce website on your own profile are acceptable but placing comments with the same link on other members’ websites will likely be considered spam by both the other members and the MySpace administrators.

3 Quick and Easy Ways to Build A Profitable Opt In List

You finally realize that you need a good opt-in list. After reading countless articles and seeking expert advice and having read many success stories of people creating a small fortune with opt-in lists you finally decide to have one of your own. Then it happens, you thought you knew everything there is to know about opt-in lists and have followed all the advice to the T and you still aren’t able to make a profit.

In fact, you may be losing money. You maybe hiring writers to help you out, or there are some expenses incurred, even if you have a big list, but only a very small percentage actually buys from you, you’re still losing profit. So what could have gone wrong? Why have others succeeded where you have failed? You chose a niche that you thought could be quite popular and would earn you money. The thing is just because you wrote people from the list, doesn’t mean they are going to buy instantly.

Here is some advice, for those who have started an opt-in list and have not made money, and for those who are starting.

Three quick and easy ways to build a profitable opt-in list:

1) Get your customers to trust you and your products first. Just launching your opt-in list would not make you an expert and a believable seller. Write several articles first before you start an opt-in list. Write to people who have used your site and about topics you know. Try to gain knowledge about your customers about their wants and needs and target those wants and needs.

Join forums from other sites as well. Provide expert advice and recommendations. When you feel that people trust you already, you will be able to start your own opt-in list. You can build a base as well with other forum users. You can ask them to join your list. Friends are always good customers. Put up a link to your site so that they may be able to see what your business is all about.

The truth is, the money will only come in when the consumers and subscribers believe and trust in you. People are not going to buy something out of your recommendation if they don’t know you.

2) Find a product or service that people want and need. Although it may not be your forte, if you provide a service or product that you have researched and learned about well, you can carry it forward. But only invest your time, effort and money on a service or product that your opt-in subscriber list can and want to use and that you can sell as well.

While it is true that it is best to sell something that you have interest in, there are not many people who have the same interest as you if you decide to sell something that is not entirely popular or profitable. Do your research well and you would see the profits come in. Also provide your subscribers with promotional material that they could actually use and spread around.

3) Make friends with other opt-in list users. This is only beneficial if it is someone who has already launched their own successful opt-in list. These are people who have experience in this venture and experience is still the best teacher. While there are many articles available for you on the internet to use, there is nothing like getting a first hand account from someone you trust.

Experienced opt-in list users will be able to tell you what to do and what not to do because they have gone through it. While different situations occur for different people, the general concepts are still very helpful. There are many things to avoid and these people will be able to tell you which ones.

Building a profitable opt-in list doesn’t just happen overnight. There are many things to do to be truly successful and as your list grows, you should also maintain the quality of your list. Keep it organized and manageable. Get or hire help if need be, just make sure that your subscribers are happy and satisfied and they will be willing to buy from you.

Website Traffic is Essential

Here are Five Ways to get Traffic at Low Cost

When it comes to making money from your Website there is one rule that must be obeyed. That rule is that you must be able to generate a steady stream of Visitors. It stands to reason that you will not be able to make any money if no-one arrives at your site to see what you have to offer.

This has been the demise of many a fledgling online business. They have tried but without success. It is a fact that you require money to advance an income generating Website. It is also the fact that it takes capital to make money. And this is where many have failed. They have not had the cash to invest in getting traffic to their site.

HOWEVER

Generating traffic to your website does not take a huge bundle of cash if you know how to go about it.

It is true that the "Big Guns" can drive huge amounts of traffic to their online businesses by investing very large amounts of money on sophisticated advertising campaigns and the many different marketing schemes available and even by using gimmicks. For them this is definitely worth the money they spend after all this is what has got them to the point they are today - with high volumes of traffic and huge profits they have become online Mega sites.

But don't be discouraged. You don't have to spend mega bucks to succeed if you don't have the necessary resources. Sadly there have been many people who have 'lost the very shirt off their backs' because they have depended on using high cost ways of promoting their website when they really could not afford it.

This does not need to be the case as there are several ways to generate traffic to your website without spending the fortune that you can't afford or do not have. Here are 5 Ways to Generate Traffic at Low Cost.

These methods could vastly improve your website traffic statistics. If only a small percentage of visitors convert to becoming clients it works well especially if your traffic is way beyond your present levels.

1. Get Good Quality Links pointing to your site: Well how do you do this? - Exchanging links is still a useful method. It is very rare that you come across a site that has no link to another site. Exchanging Links enables web-masters to expose their site to the net more readily and thus ensuring that their site comes to the fore in the public eye. Perhaps a more desired linking method these days is One way Linking. This is where you encourage other good quality, high ranking websites to link to your site. One excellent way of doing this is submitting your site to as many Directory sites as you can. There are usually several Directories in most niche subjects.

Most online marketers are willing to exchange links and Directories will usually accept your submission but a VERY IMPORTANT factor is that you link to "relevant" sites i.e. ones that fit with what you are promoting. It will be detrimental if you link with a company promoting "pig food" if you are trying to sell high quality jewelry or if you submit your site to a Directory promoting "belly dance costumes" if your niche is gardening. Your traffic will not appreciate that.

It is important that linking sites have a common purpose, a continuity in the provision of information or a service that interests their target traffic. If you ignore this factor the Search engines won't like it either and you will fail to make any headway.

One of the key benefits of linking strategies is that the Search engines put a high significance on your linking popularity. They see all the "back links" and consider you to be an important site to be reckoned with. As a result they increase your ranking and you move up their listings. As you move higher in the rankings your site will be seen by more surfers and you will get more "organic" traffic that doesn't cost you anything.

2. Write Your own Articles and Submit them to E-zines - If you search the internet you will find many online encyclopedias and e-zines which allow you to submit articles for free. If you cannot write yourself there are my freelance writers who, for a small fee, are willing to write articles for you. However if you want to save money you can write them yourself.

Once again it is important to stress that any article you write should coincide with the theme of your site. Everyone has expertise on something - write about what you know. If you do this those that read your articles will "feel" your knowledge and will eagerly visit your site. It is a good idea to write articles that contain guidelines or tips on the subject matter of your website. Write an interesting, information packed, article and they will be hurrying to your site for more.

All that you need to do then, and this is very important, is to provide a resource box at the end of your article that links them back to your website. You could write a little about your site or you could simply place a link.

3. Traffic Exchange - What is "Traffic Exchange"? The principle of traffic exchange services is that a website set up for the purpose receives submissions from web-masters that join the network. The person who submitted the website then earns credits by browsing other member sites on the exchange program. These credits then allow the web-master to have his site viewed by other members in the system. This means that all of the sites involved have an increases in the number of visitors to their sites.

There may be a cost involved but very often these web exchange sites are free. Generally traffic exchange programs are used by small business owners who are working on a low budget and need free or low cost advertising. And they can be a good source of traffic if used correctly.

There is a note of caution however. You should choose carefully which traffic exchange site you use. It has been said that the usefulness of some of these programs is doubtful as sites are forgotten by many people once the time limit is up. Also some say it is risky to use these as it can get you banned ~from some advertising packages and some traffic exchanges use forms of advertising that are banned. However if you choose carefully there shouldn't be any problem.

4. Create a Newsletter - Your first thought might be that this sounds like hard work. It is true that you do need to use a lot of articles to successfully build a Newsletter. But contrary to what you may think this is not difficult.

There are many websites and copywriters who are more than eager to provide you with free articles. Their only stipulation is that you place their name at the foot of their article. Your Newsletter brings you more traffic and gives the copywriter more advertising.

Your letter gets passed around and as it does more and more people become aware of your internet presence. Producing a Newsletter is great as, when folk sign up, it builds an "opt-in" emailing list of interested parties who can revisit your site time and time again.

5. Online Communities and Forum Memberships - Joining these sites does not cost you anything but your time. You share your expertise and knowledge on your website - why not with online communities and Forums. As before, choose Forums that deal with the same niche or subject as your own website.

Publish your two cents worth and amaze other members with your knowledge about your particular subject. This has the effect of building your reputation. Then as your reputation grows so does the reputation of your website. Your Website eventually becomes known for the honest and reputable business that you have known it is all along. It will then begin to be trusted and visited by many relevant visitors who, because they have come to trust you will take advantage of what you offer.

So there you have it. Five very useful ways to increase traffic to your site. On Ebooks in Abundance I am using all five strategies to great effect. Why don't YOU Start today, don2019t delay and you will definitely see your business grow.

Top 20 Contributing Factors For Google SEO

I read this article in Site Pro News By Jon Bergan (c) 2008 dated JULY 7, ISSUE #1112 and I thought it was really good.
Understanding Google is something that we all struggle to try and do. It is not easy as the ground is always shifting under us as they continually are shifting and changing the way they do things. So I thought that you all might like to read it.

Here is an excerpt from it that gives you the main points.

“Our journey begins by defining some of the key contributing factors that Google uses to determine a website's and webpage's ranking within its results. These factors range from keyword use to manipulating internal and external links and the líst goes on. To get you started, we have listed the top twenty factors that you should focus on in order to help get your website that little bit closer to the top of the search engine results listings.

Keyword Use Factors
The following components relate to the use of search query terms in determining the rank of a particular page.

1. Keyword Use in Title Tag - Placing the targeted search term or phrase in the title tag of the web page's HTML header.
2. Keyword Use in Body Text - Using the targeted search term in the visible, HTML text of the page.
3. Relationship of Body Text Content to Keywords - Topical relevance of text on the page compared to targeted keywords.
4. Keyword Use in H1 Tag - Creating an H1 tag with the targeted search term/phrase.
5. Keyword Use in Domain Name & Page URL - Including the targeted term/phrase in the registered domain name, i.e. keyword.com plus target terms in the webpage URL, i.e. seomoz.org/keyword-phrase.

Page Attributes

The following elements comprise how Google interprets specific data about a webpage independent of keywords.

6. Link Popularity within the Site's Internal Link Structure - Refers to the number and importance of internal links pointing to the target page.
7. Quality/Relevance of Links to External Sites/Pages - Do links on the page point to high quality, topically-related pages?
8. Age of Document - Older pages may be perceived as more authoritative while newer pages may be more temporarily relevant.
9. Amount of Indexable Text Content - Refers to the literal quantity of visible HTML text on a page.
10. Quality of the Document Content (as measured algorithmically) - Assuming search engines can use text, visual or other analysis methods to determine the validity and value of content, this metric would provide some level of rating.

Site/Domain Attributes

The factors below contribute to Google's rankings based on the site/domain on which a page resides.

11. Global Link Popularity of Site - The overall link weight/authority as measured by links from any and all sites across the web (both link quality and quantity).
12. Age of Site - Not the date of original registration of the domain, but rather the launch of indexable content seen by the search engines (note that this can change if a domain switches ownership).
13. Topical Relevance of Inbound Links to Site - The subject-specific relationship between the sites/pages linking to the target page and the target keyword.
14. Link Popularity of Site in Topical Community - The link weight/authority of the target website amongst its topical peers in the online world.
15. Rate of New Inbound Links to Site - The frequency and timing of external sites linking in to the given domain.

Inbound Link Attribute

These pieces affect Google's weighting of links from external websites pointing to a page and ultimately will assist in the ranking of that page.

16. Anchor Text of Inbound Link.
17. Global Link Popularity of Linking Site.
18. Topical Relationship of Linking Page.
19. Link Popularity of Site in Topical Community - The link weight/authority of the target website amongst its topical peers in the online world.
20. Age of Link.”

How To Begin Social Marketing

Social marketing is a relatively new form of online marketing and is often misunderstood yet it is reaping big rewards for website owners who have begun using it in their overall marketing plans. Social marketing is truly an effective and cost efficient method of building your brand and your web site. It doesn’t require any special skills and it’s quick and easy to get started.
These social networking sites are primarily used as a tool that will enable people to connect with other people. Most Internet users have joined at least one of these social networking sites with the biggest being Facebook.

Successful social marketers tap into people’s emotions and highlight the benefits that they might feel are most important. So, for example, a campaign to promote the practice of breastfeeding would be more effective if it builds on a woman’s desire to be a good mother and provide the best for her baby, or highlights the bonding between mother and baby that it provides, than for the rational reason that it provides beneficial nutrients and antibodies,.

Here are some Steps for getting your Social Marketing Campaign off on the right foot.

1. Schedule some time each day to work on it and then actually follow through on it.
2. Sign up for one or two social networking sites: FriendswinFriendswin,

ApsenseApsense, or

Giblink Giblink.

Make sure you fill out your profile completely. Be a real person and be natural, participate, make comments, getting a general sense of what members think is good and bad content, don't try to push your own content onto the networks you belong to.
3. If you don't have a blog, you need to start one. On today's web it is essential to have a blog and Wordpress is the format choice of all serious marketers. It can be downloaded free and installed by you or your webmaster. Wordpress download
4. Once you have your blog set up, you should join some blog communities which will help you generate visitors, gain some authority, and links. Article Marketing, a very effective tool…

Article marketing is another marketing method that for little or no cost can dramatically improve websites presence on the internet and increase your sales.

The most common purpose for article marketing or writing articles and offering them to directories for publication is to get those all-important back links from the directories. Although this is essentially a free way to get a quality link, it does come with some work. You must be able to write a content rich article on a topic related to your site. These articles can increase your websites popularity by improving your Google Page Rank and with each link comes another doorway for traffic to find you. So how does one do it?

By writing your own unique articles on topics related to your websites niche and submitting them for publication to the best article directories you are letting the public know you have expertise and knowledge on the subject. Most article directories or Ezine sites (online magazines) do not mind giving you the opportunity to get your name out there but you need to provide them with well written articles that capture the reader's attention and offers them something. Your articles have to be of a minimum length at least 500 words and of a certain standard if you want them to be listed by the search engines, especially Google. Be sure to consult and follow the guidelines of any article directories in which you decide to submit articles.

Do not advertise in your articles if you plan to submit them to a directory, instead fill them with quality, well written information. Leave the advertising to your author's resource box. There place your URL which must be one related to the article, and if you make it your blog, that is even better. Then you could place links on your blog to all your other relevant online ventures. Many sites offer two or three links in the author's resource box which allows you to present links to different pages on your website, or to different related sites like your Squidoo lens.

Most people write their articles using Microsoft word, or some other word processing software that uses its own formatting code embedded in the article. This formatting can be seen by the search engines and could be detrimental to the listing of your article so when you have finished writing your article save it as a text file before submitting it to any directories.

If you are looking for a way to increase traffic to your web site, and most of us are because we realize that traffic is what will make us successful then articles marketing is something we need to be doing. It is a very powerful tool if used properly which can take your online business to another level. First and foremost, it allows you to link to your site from your articles resource area and again it provides a chance to show off the knowledge you have in your field. Increased traffic to your web site i.e. sales is the result of an effective, consistent, properly run article marketing campaign.
